Speaking on the topic of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, a rare condition of the nerves and blood vessels which can cause shoulder pain, Dr. Tehrany stated that surgeons only consider TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome) after ruling out injuries to the rotator cuff and the labrum. Concerning Matt Harvey’s injury, Dr. Tehrany confirmed that shoulder surgery at this point could end Matt’s game for the season.
